The data governance maturity assessment service involves data governance online surveys (generated based on our 30+ years of experience in data, analytics and governance) being emailed to key staff to feedback on how effectively they think your organisation is managing its data.
Data governance experts from Fujitsu Data & AI then review the results and provide targeted improvement recommendations in a half-day workshop where your summary results will be provided, compared against Australian benchmark data, and next step recommendations discussed.
How does the data governance maturity assessment (online) work?
The data governance maturity assessment (online) works by using an online survey solution, which is then assessed by our Fujitsu Data & AI consultants to provide an independent assessment of the current state of your data governance, identify where you should be and then provide a roadmap of prioritised, budgeted projects to help you close the gaps between today and tomorrow, and your competitors.
How much does the data governance maturity assessment (online) cost?
There are three pricing levels:
1. The first survey is either AUD $10,000 or NZD $10,000 depending on which country your headquarters are located in
2. Ad hoc repeated surveys are $7,500 per time after the first survey
3. If you are planning a regular recurring cycle of surveys, talk to a Fujitsu Data and AI specialist about customised pricing

Concluding the assessment process, a Fujitsu Data & AI Data Governance Specialist will present the data governance maturity assessment results and roadmap report

| How long does the survey take to fill in | The survey consists of different sections of questions, and each respondent may be asked to fill in one or more sections. There is a dedicated summary section for busy very senior executives that only takes 10 mins. Other staff may take between 10 and 30 mins to complete their assigned section(s) of the survey. |
| Can the survey be completed on a tablet or mobile device | Yes. The survey can be completed on computers, tablets or smart phones, as long as you have internet access. |
| Is there a limit on the number of respondents | There is no limit, but it is important to remember that the responsibility for ensuring all assessments are completed rests with your organisation. |
| Do we receive the detailed individual responses after the survey completes | No. Individual responses are not provided due to privacy, only aggregated responses. You can nominate groups of respondents, and aggregated responses will be provided if there are at least three submitted full responses for each group. Text based responses are provided anonymously. |
| What do the questions in the survey look like | Each question asks about a different area or function related to data governance so they’re all different, but all responses are built around a five-point scale response (1=very bad, 2=bad,3-neutral, 4=good, 5=very good) with an option for a “Not Applicable” answer. An example question is: Question: Is there a published, agreed Data Governance strategy document that is accessible to all staff?
