To continuously give back to society the value of AI and data, what's important is not only the evolution of AI technology itself, but also the software engineering that supports it. No matter how advanced an AI algorithm may be, software engineering is critical to embedding AI into real systems and providing AI scalably and reliably. As both a software engineer and a data scientist, I can create more value by honing both skill sets. I respect and embrace both AI and software engineering, and hope to contribute to society by pursuing their integration.
