The advent of an era where everything connects to networks increased demand for disaggregated architecture that enables easy customization and quick construction of network environments, replacing traditional all-in-one transmission devices.
To meet these needs, Fujitsu developed 1FINITY series.
1FINITY is made up of four functional families, lambda, transport, switch, and access capabilities, providing each function in a 1RU blade. This enables flexible system configurations tailored to customer needs and system scale, while keeping upfront investment costs and also enabling centralized management of each blade. Furthermore, 1FINITY supports backward compatibility with FLASHWAVE series to protect smooth transitions for users with existing FLASHWAVE network equipment.
Initially launched in the North American market, 1FINITY has since expanded primarily to major telecommunications companies both within Japan and abroad.
